The HEROES HARVEST
A reliable, safe & free source of cannabis for veterans living in Humboldt & Mendocino Counties, California
MEDVETS was initially founded to solve the problem of veteran access to high quality cannabis, without worrying about the lax rules of California’s Prop 215 law (no testing/quality control/regulation) by sourcing high quality donations directly from farms in the Emerald Triangle region.
However, legalization in 2018 ended nearly all donation programs by taxing them at the same rates as retail sales ending FREE cannabis donations.
The HEROES HARVEST is the rebirth of the original MEDVETS program but compliant with 2019’s Senate Bill 34 rules. With flower & trim donations from a select group of farms and a tight group of distributors, packaging and testing partners, the pilot program aims to be placing regular free cannabis donations in the hands of vets through two dispensaries in Mendocino and Humboldt counties and is now the subject of a YouTube documentary called “From Outlaws to In-Laws - the HEROES HARVEST story.”

Dragonfly Wellness, Fort Bragg, California
Located just South of downtown Fort Bragg on California Route 1, Dragonfly Wellness Center is not a typical dispensary. As well as the sale of regular cannabis products it’s also a wellness community center, meeting place and educational portal to whole plant therapy practices.
The Ganjery
The Ganjery is located in a unique site in Arcata, California which also sells clones for home growing. As the Heroes Harvest Humboldt County location it sits in a retail park alongside sister companies: North Coast Horticultural Supply and 1st Degree Consulting, offering cannabis consumers a full range of services.
