“One of the key challenges facing those that have served is reintegration into the civilian workforce; from matching military training to civilian applications to teaching new skills and trades, the Veteran CAREER FORCE leverages all our programs to create opportunities for veterans and local employers alike.”

Jacob Lawrence - MEDVETS Founder

Many veterans have trouble reintegrating to the job-market once their service is complete, which in the worst cases can lead to isolation, relationship issues, mental illness and in extreme cases; cycles of homelessness and/or addiction.

One of the keys to breaking these cycles is to give those that have served the ability to earn a living wage and find career paths that they can grow and develop with.

Partnerships

Through integrating with the cities, local businesses and communities where we operate, we work to create meaningful opportunities to place veterans in long term careers where they can grow and develop.

You don’t have to have served to be a MEDVET.

Community

Community is vital to veterans as it’s often what they signed up to protect. The Veteran CAREER FORCE actively weaves veterans back into the social fabric of their surrounding communities - a process we call “community threading” - via volunteerism and activism in the community.

We show up and take part.

“Communities need veterans as much as veterans need communities.”
